Mayday Key Art
Key art for Mayday Season 17, which I designed for use as the show page graphic on the Discovery website and as cover art on the Discovery GO app. The concept was to capture a terrifying moment mid-air, just before the airplane crashes to the ground. The stormy weather and exploding engine create the perfect combination to convey the sense of imminent disaster. The fire against the dark background provides strong contrast and serves as an effective focal point.
